Captains Duties
- Captains must be residents of Legacy Park.
- Each captain must be aware of all policies of the Association.
- All team captains,
regardless of league, will be limited to being captain for two consecutive
seasons. If, however, at the end of a captain's term no other team
member wishes to become captain, the previous captain can retain the
position.
- Each captain must turn in a completed team roster with addresses and telephone numbers for
each member and a league schedule to the Pro and Committee one week
prior to the season.
- Captains should notify
the Pro and Committee of any additions or deletions to the roster.
- Home Matches: Captains are expected to report to courts 30 minutes before their team match
begins so they can check court conditions; (clean if necessary), set
up scorekeepers, and check on restroom facilities.
- All captains are responsible
for the clean up after league play including trash receptacles and
return of scorekeepers to designated location.
- Tennis Association fees ($5.00 for each Legacy Park resident and $15.00 for non-resident)
shall be collected by the captain from each roster member and submitted
to the Committee prior to the third league match of the season.
- Additional courts (above
two) may be used for matches provided a minimum of two courts are
left for open play. When more than one team wishes additional courts
for matches, the available courts shall be shared equally.
