Structure
- Each year the Association
will elect a Legacy Park Tennis committee, hereinafter referred
to as The Committee, made up of seven members of The Association
to oversee the goals of The Association. Should more than seven
individuals volunteer an election shall be held. One vote per
active Legacy Park tennis resident with seven individuals listed.
The vote will be open for seven days. Top seven individuals with
the most votes will be on the Tennis Committee, whose terms
will be one year. One individual
will be elected/volunteer for 2 years. A quorum must be present
to vote on all matters requiring action.
- At the first meeting, the
Committee will elect a Chairperson to conduct meetings and prepare
subsequent agendas, a Secretary to take and distribute meeting
minutes to Committee members and Treasurer to collect fees for
the Association and distribute financial reports at each meeting.
The designated tennis professional will also be a non-voting participant
at the Committee meetings.
- The Committee will work and coordinate with the Legacy Park Homeowners Association, Board of Directors, Property Manager and Activities Director for any functions that might affect the overall homeowner interests within Legacy Park. The Committee will provide a list of active tennis players to the HOA Board of Directors for approval. All players not current with HOA annual dues may NOT participate in league play.
