They also sponsor additional tournaments throughout the year.

Download USTA League information. It is an acrobat file which should give you all the information you need to know about USTA leagues.
USTA Captains Corner
If you want to captain,
begin a team by going to the
http://national.usta.com
site (be sure you
have the Tennis
Director's approval first, of course, there may already be a team
at your level). Captains must first collect enough players, then click on the
appropriate links to begin a team, then send the number to your teammates so they may sign up.
Info about the 3.75 USTA Level!
The 3.75 level is a test level for those 3.5 players who want to challenge themselves to a higher standard and those 4.0 players who aren't ready to move all the way up. I don't recommend it, if only because the travel is greater than when you play in a regular 3.5 or 4.0 level.
Integrity of Self Rating
Please read this, it is about those players who self
rate to compete at a lower level by misrepresenting their true
abilities. It also mentions the opposite, players who play more than
one level above their true rating, as practicing this dilutes the true level capability.
I've seen these abuses a lot recently and it's something that should
be weeded out in the USTA. Anyone with a different opinion, please email
me and I'll put your editorial up.
The local governing body for USTA in Atlanta is ACTA. From here you may click on the tournament button to enter a local tournament, or check progress on them. There are lots of additional opportunities to play as well.
